Note to Tomb Raider and Gaming Site Webmasters

You are welcome to borrow my walkthroughs to publish on your fan/gaming site, as long as you agree to a few conditions:

  1. My copyright information, email and web address must appear on every page where my walkthroughs appear. (This is already included at the bottom of each of my walkthrough pages. You can delete the acknowledgements and other information if you want to save space.)

  2. You may only use the walkthrough pages with white backgrounds—that is, the pages with info on the individual levels. You may not use the introductory pages with tan backgrounds (tomb1.html, tomb2.html, etc., gameplay.html, strategy.html, etc.), though you are welcome to link to these and any other pages on my site. If you're not sure which pages I mean, please ask.

  3. If you use the pages without reformatting them for your own site, you must remove my advertisements at the top of each page. You probably want to put your own ads there in any case.

  4. If you edit or otherwise alter my information, you must say so in your text and indicate on the same page where readers can find the complete and current version of the walkthrough (i.e., tombraiders.net). For example, if you have a better way of doing something and want to include that in the walkthrough, go ahead. Just indicate that it is your addition and not part of the original content.

  5. You are also welcome to use the zipped text and savegame files but they also need to include my contact information. This is already included in each of the files. Also, if you use my zipped files, please download them and put them on your own server, rather than linking to my files.

  6. The only images you may use are the screenshots/diagrams related to the walkthroughs. You may not use the comic-book Lara title graphics or any of the other design elements. Again, please ask if you're not sure.

  7. You may use my walkthroughs on a commercial site, but you may not charge visitors money to access pages with my walkthroughs. They are free for everyone who wants them.

  8. Absolutely no nude raider, warez or cracks on any site that uses my walks. Tombraiders.net is an above-board, family-friendly site. If you feel a need to have this kind of material on your site, kindly leave me out of it.

  9. You must let me know that you agree to these conditions BEFORE posting any of my material. Send email to or use my Contact Form. Also, be sure to include your site's address so I can link back to you.

One last thing: I try to revise each of my walkthroughs at least once every few years, and I sometimes make small updates between major revisions. So you may want to check in periodically and/or subscribe to my mailing list. I announce all major updates that way. (To subscribe or unsubscribe, visit my Email Update List page.)

I'm sorry this list is so long. I've had a few misunderstandings with well-meaning webmasters, and I've had my entire site stolen and re-used. So I try to be very clear about what I expect. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. I don't bite unless you bite me first. ;)

Thanks for your consideration. Raid on! —Stella
